The Hale'iwa Arts Festival would not be possible without the aloha spirit that is genuinely alive in the hearts of friends who participate in several local organizations that have offered to lend us a helping hand. They include: The Waialua Lions Club has been an active force of volunteerism on the North Shore for almost half a century. The Waialua Lions Club members are some of the most admired and respected citizens in our community and we are touched by their eagerness to offer their valued assistance. The Pupukea Seniors are one of the most energetic groups serving the North Shore community. They are the "pearls" of our land. Known as Pohai Na Makua O'Pupukea Seniors, this lively group can always be counted on to go the extra mile for a worthy cause. While they call themselves a "holo holo" group, they are hardworking seniors and are now helping towards the success of thei First Annual Hale'iwa Arts Festival The Mililani YMCA Indian Guides encompass the true meaning of "ohana." With an emphasis on enhancing family relationships, the Indian Guides have adopted the First Annual Hale'iwa Arts Festival as a special community project. We are grateful for their openness and willingness to help make this year's event a real family affair. The North Shore Outdoor Circle is a diligent group that has an eye for beauty, and that is the reflection they leave on every project they work on. We are grateful for this organization to lend their time and energy to help make the First Annual Hale'iwa Arts Festival a great success. The Flick Foundation Inc. is a non-profit organization that draws upon the talents, skills, and equipment donated by a network of professionals from the film industry. They are donating their time, skill, and equipment to forever preserve the two day festival on videotape, to be aired later on community television, and used as an important source for promoting the festival in the future. |
