Area Schools' Arts Programs Need Our Continuing Support!

The Hale'iwa Arts Festival has, beginning in 1999, provided for a total of $19,000 in financial support for arts education programs in nine area schools.

Hale'iwa Elementary, Ho'ala School in Wahiawa, Kahuku Elementary, Kahuku High and Intermediate, Saint Michael's School in Waialua, Sunset Beach Elementary, Sunset Beach Christian School, Waialua High and Intermediate, and Waialua Elementary School have all been recipients of our support.

Mahalos from the schools reflect the results: "...so grateful you chose to include us!", "...running low on everything, it's like a shot in the arm", "...a big help in supporting the arts... funding has been shrinking", "...will provide our three visual arts academies with art supplies to enhance their programs", "Your continued support has helped us build a nationally recognized art program."

One school said it all so simply, "...strengthens the love and appreciation for the Arts." You support the Hale'iwa Arts Festival through your membership, contributions, in-kind goods and services, grants, and corporate sponsorships. And by purchasing items from "Cool Stuff to Buy", a beverage or a food item, you help to support these school programs and other arts activities within our community.

Together we can make a bigger difference!
